Design of shangxilongyuan courtyard

This courtyard was once owned by Mr. Ba Jin's grandfather, old man Li Zhuxi, but now it is called "shangxilong garden". The courtyard is a typical wooden structure of Western Sichuan. It has five bays in the north-south direction, four bays in the west, a pavilion in the East and a corridor in the East, and a koi in the water of a wangchi pond wagging its tail. The enclosed room of the green brick wall is a wooden door with a handle inlaid with pure copper dragon pattern. The vigorous and powerful word "Dragon Garden" appears simple and low-key on the plaque.

In the front hall called "Qi", the huge glass door is covered with a TaN film, with a transparent round hole left in it. The texture of the self-contained film filter adds a sense of privacy. Between opening and closing, it highlights the central axis of the space, and has the interest of crossing the ancient and modern times. Even a few steps, in this crossing, there is a sense of ritual. The most eye-catching design is a copper tube made of stars under the wooden beams and gray tiles, longitude and latitude vertical and horizontal, and the light bulb is like a star to illuminate the present.
