Design description

The museum is located in Calasso Square, in the center of a new cultural and commercial district. The design of the 17,000-square-meter Somaya Museum pays tribute to its eclectic art collection, which covers approximately 70,000 works of art from the 15th century to the mid-20th century, including the world’s largest private collection Sculpture of Auguste Rodin. The design of the museum reflects the desire to "create a new public cultural institution for all."
